The current research aims to identify the Mental motivation of students at the giftedness schools, the differences in mental motivation according to the gender variable, as well as the recognition of students' Authentic pride, differences in authentic pride according to gender variable, and finally identify the relationship between mental motivation and authentic pride.

In order to verify the objectives of the research, The researcher prepared a measure of mental motivation and consists of (47) items, and the measure of the authentic pride and be (38) items.The researcher applied the two measures to a sample of fifth grade students in the Giftedness schools affiliated with Al- Karkh Education Directorate (First, second and third) In Baghdad governorate of both genders, where the number (196) students were chosen by random method and equal manner.

After the statistical analysis and data analysis, the results showed that the students have mental motivation, there are no differences in mental motivation by gender, and they have an authentic pride, and there are no differences in authentic pride by gender, and the results showed a statistically significant relationship between mental motivation and authentic pride.

In the light of the results, the researcher reached a number of recommendations and suggestion
