The study aims at investigate the possibility of applying Marzano dimensions of Learning Model (MDLM) in teaching mentally disabled students (MD), from the intellectual education teacher's point of view.
the study adopted the descriptive survey approach, using a questionnaire administrated to 45 out of 165 specialized teachers in intellectual education who form the study community in Al-Ahsa the researcher designed the questionnaire on MDLM and confirmed its validity and stability.
the researcher also prepared an interview with the teachers to help them acknowledge MDLM.
the study came out with several results, the most important of which are : 1- the possibility of achieving MDLM in teaching MD.
2- there are statistically significant differences in the extent of verification between the dimensions of the model in favor of the second dimension: the possibility of acquiring and integrating knowledge.
followed by the first dimension: achieving positive attitudes towards learning.
then the fifth dimension: achieving productive habits of mind, followed by the third dimension : extending and refining knowledge, then the fourth dimension with the lowest proportion of the sign of the agreement is the following: the possibility of meaningful use of knowledge.
