Abstract EN

The present research aims at identifying the relationship between self organized learning and retention strategies.

The research required building two scales, the first of which is set to measure the self organized learning, it is composed of 40 items, while the second was set to measure retention strategies, it is composed of 30 items.

The statistical indicators of validity and stability were extracted.

The two scales were applied to the research sample which included 400 male and female students.

The results showed that there is a very obvious decrease in using the skills of self organized learning and retention strategies and that there is a lack in the relationship between self organized learning and retention strategies.

The researcher proposed a number of recommendations and suggestions.
