Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the attitude toward aging of older people and to identify the attitude toward aging according to the following variables( gender, age, education level, social status), the sample compose of(110) elderly,(55) female and(55) male.

The sample responded to the attitude toward aging scale, that consist of three subscales( psychological growth, physical changes, and psychological lose).

The results of the study revealed that there is positive attitude toward aging according to( psychological growth, physical changes), and natural attitude toward (psychological lose).

There is no statistically significant difference in attitude of sample toward aging according to the(gender, age, social status)for the three subscales, and there is a statically significant difference according to education level variable and for those with Higher education degrees on subscale(psychological growth)
