Abstract EN

This research discusses the relationship between Persians arid Arabs before Islam Through historical events and facts and the relationship that was marked by Instability and the fluctuation between war and peace.

Persians had a look of fanaticism and arrogance because of their legendary history^ which was dominated by myth, for example They said they were related to prophet Isaac son of Abraham (PBUH) and one of their ancient kings”, Fredon”, said he was Prophet ((Noah)) They tried to spread their religion and beliefs in the Arabian Peninsula because they believe that their religion is sacred and that they are above other human beings for they are the source of laws and canons.

They tried to control the Arabian Peninsula and impose their influence and dominance in the periods of their strength When their authority was weakened, the Sassanian established an Arab buffer state called Manathara,to protect their borders against their competitors and against the rebellious Arab Tribes They expected the Arabs to be a loyal subject but the Arabs showed extraordinary strength toward the Persians and challenge the authority Hence the emergence of a national consensus that stemmed from the Arab perception of their common identity which had a deep impact in uniting them on the face of an eminent foreign danger.
