Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to identify the reality of applying the individualized educational plan from the viewpoint of learning disabilities teachers and differences according to the variables of gender, academic qualification and years of experience.

The study sample consisted of (103) teachers and female teachers of learning Disabilities, chosen simply and randomly in Asir and Jazan provinces, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This study applied the survey descriptive method and a questionnaire was used as a tool of collecting data and consisted of (66) items distributed on four areas namely: preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow up the individualized educational plan after the confirmation of the indications of its validity and reliability.

The findings showed that the reality of applying the individualized educational plan from the viewpoint of learning disabilities teachers had a high application reality as well as all the areas of the tool.

The findings, also, showed that there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample due to the variable of experience years for a category of less than (5) years, and there were no differences due to the two variables of gender and academic qualification.The study recommended several recommendations; the most prominent of them are the emphasis on the role of the inter-disciplinary team of work in learning difficulties programme, and activating the role of the family in the preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up the individualized education plan.
