Abstract EN

The article analyzes the impact of agricultural growth on the economic growth in Algeria.

The study is based on cointegration relation and error correction model according to Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model developed by Pesaran and al (2001).

The results indicated the existence of cointegration between agricultural growth and economic growth, whith regard to the nature of the relationship the results indicated that the agricultural value added growth has a positive impact on the agricultural growth .

But the contribution of agricultural growth to generating economic growth is weak and less important compared to other variables like real exports and capital.
