Abstract EN

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have a pivotal role in the economies of countries for their importance and their positive contribution to many economic indicators,however, in light of the funding problems that limit its development, modern methods must be provided in line with the nature of their financing needs, in this context, islamic financing and finance through leasing are highlighted as financing methods that include benefits and diversity tailored to the financing needs of SMEs, where reliance on the analytical descriptive approach commensurate with the nature of the subject.

The study found that the contribution of both Islamic formulas and leasing to the financing of small and medium enterprises in Algeria is still limited and insufficient compared to the successesachieved in other countries in this area.
