Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the most important characteristics of women entrepreneurs in the women's sports clubs in Benghazi and identify the most important obstacles facing women entrepreneurs in the clubs under study .The qualitative research was used through in-depth interviews to collect the preliminary study data needed to achieve the objectives of the study.

The result show that most women sports clubs owners enjoy the personal characteristics of women entrepreneurs such as self-confidence, optimism, need for achievement , risk, and commitment to work.

also, they show that some women sports club owners have the managerial ability to perform their work in terms of technical knowledge, innovation and innovation, analytical abilities and the ability to build human relations .As well as they show that some women sports club owners have the behavioral characteristics such as the ability to communicate and teamwork.

The results show also that there are many obstacles facing female club owners, the most important of which are the financial, legal and social obstacles, as well as administrative, marketing and technical obstacles.

Finally, the study presented a set of recommendations that may contribute to promoting and supporting women entrepreneurship in Libya.
