Abstract EN

The study aims mainly to detect the presence of Alexthymia in patients with cancer, and to know the statisticale diffrences attributed to gender variable, housing area, social status, education level, in order to achieve the objectives of the study, we used the descriptive method suitable for description and analysis, on a sample estimated at 79 cancer patients in El Affroun hospital, The results of the study were based on (Tas-20) for the evaluation of Alexthymia.

The results revealed a high level of Alexthymia in cancer patients, and no significant differences in the degree of Alexthymia attributable to the gender variable, location(city/rural), education level (primary/middle/secondary/university), and marital status (married/single).
