Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to measure the efficacy of a behavior modification training program for teachers of students with autism spectrum disorders in reducing behavioral problems and developing their students' social skills.

The study sample consisted of all teachers of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Autism Center in Irbid, (12) teachers, who were divided randomly into two main groups: control group of (6) teachers, and experimental group of (6) teachers.

The study population consisted of all students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (45) at Al Awaj Center, where a sample was chosen from (24) children between the ages of 6-10 years.

They were distributed randomly into the two teachers' groups: 12 children in each group, with two children per teacher.

In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researchers constructed two measures of behavioral problems and social behavior.

The results of the study showed significant differences in reducing behavioral problems and developing social skills for the benefit of the experimental group.
