Abstract EN

The importance of this paper that it highlights the competitive position of the Algerian economy in the various indicators both of global and arab competitiveness.

Given the reality of the Algerian economy in competitiveness according to the international competitiveness reports prepared by the World economic forum, the decline according to GCI's three sub-indicators during the period 2010-2017.

We also note that Algeria has achieved a qualitative leap in the ranking of the arab competitiveness index, where it ranked 24th, ahead of Egypt and morocco in the 2012 Arab Competitiveness Report, but they remain in the last positions, which means that the reform efforts undertaken by the state to improve the competitive situation remain insufficient to change the competitive situation, thus promoting the national economy as a whole.
