Abstract EN

The aim of the paper is to study and analyze the evaluation of the performance of teaching staff in Iraqi universities from a critical perspective by taking the views of a sample of faculty members in both the Faculty of Management and Economics/ Mustansiriya University(42) and the Technical Technical College-Baghdad(25) In the evaluation form and its suitability.

As well as identify the obstacles and problems that face the process of evaluating performance and propose solutions and recommendations to overcome them from the practical and scientific.

The research was based on a hypothesis contends that "the performance of university professors is one of the basic components of the Iraqi universities, which necessitates the development and upgrading of the efficiency of its professional performance and the strong support of the main parties concerned with education represented by the students, the Deanship and the Ministry of Education".

Conclusions of most importance are: The lack of appropriate performance evaluation criteria for all disciplines such as patent, and the use of laboratories with the lack of these tools in the college.
