in Institute for the History of Arabic Science University of Aleppo-Aleppo-Syria Abstract The news of some of the Arab palaces that built in the Islamic cities were scattered in historical sources and references and was talking about the engineering and technical wonders that characterized these palaces, and Perhaps the purpose of mentioning its (often) was to show the extravagance and luxury that reached the palaces as a kind of condemnation of this act or to make visitors admire its masterpieces, But unfortunately the engineering and technical creative side of these wonders have been neglected which done by engineers and skillful workers.

In this research, we chose the Taj Palace that built in the Abbasid period as a model for studying its wonders, Due to the availability of some accurate information about it in the sources and references, although scattered, we studied its wonders and analyzed it geometrically.

As a result of this research we found that the Arab engineers and workers had a technical engineering sense that it enabled them to complete the engineering and technical works of excellence and sophisticated in the Arabian palaces to the extent that their work impressed the historians and travelers and visitors to these palaces, so they talked about and described it, despite the lack of studies and tools required in their time.
