The incident of Sakiat Sidi Yucef 1958 between the misleading of colonial press and the enlightenment of the Algerian Revolution press The article is about the impact of the incident of Sakiat Sidi Yucef 1958 in the colonial press on one side and the Algerian Revolution press on the other side.

Concerning the colonial press as usual treated the incident to mislead the opinions all over the world and hide the realities of the carnage caused by the military aviation during the bombing of the village of Sakiat Sidi Yucef on February 8th1958.

Moreover, the colonial press pretended that the bombing was a « Self-Defence » against the elements of the Algerian Liberation army and the right of the French Army at that time to track the Algerian Liberation army so as to influence the international opinion in defending the colonial principle “Algeria is a French territory On the other side, The Algerian Revolutionary Press “El Mudjahed” published contradictory articles to the Colonial press on the same incident and considered it as a Criminal Act to install terror in both the Algerian and Tunisian peoples and to stop all forms of solidarity with the Algerian Liberation Army.
