Abstract EN

This study aimed to build a training program based on reciprocal teaching method and to explore its effect in cognitive skills’ enhancement among learning disability students.

The sample consisted of sixty male and female students identified as learning disabilities students.

Semi-experimental design was used, the sample was divided into two groups; experimental and control.

Results showed significant statistical differences in the cognitive skills between the experimental group and the control group on the post test, in favor of the experimental group.

There were no significant statistical differences in the cognitive skills that could refer to the interaction between the variables (gender and group) on the post test.

Also, there were significant statistical differences in the cognitive skills between the experimental and the control group on the follow-up test, in favor of the experimental group
