This study aimed at identifying the Reality of the continuous evaluation for the deaf and hard of hearing students in the primary Stage.
The study adopted a descriptive approach and the researcher has designed a questionnaire to determine the reality of the continuous evaluation for the deaf and hard of hearing students in the primary Stage and this questionnaire includes (46) statements distributed on two axes: reality and problems.
Additionally, another copy has been given to teachers for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Study Sample consists of (97) teachers at Al- Amal institutes and classes of the deaf students in Riyadh in addition to (177) teachers for hard of hearing students in Riyadh.
The results of study conducted that: The Reality of the continuous evaluation for the deaf students in the primary Stage is found with (71%), while that for hard of hearing students is found with (62.7%), problems of the continuous evaluation for the deaf students in the primary Stage are found with (78%), while those for hard of hearing students are found with (83.6%).
Additionally, the results showed that there are statistically significant differences about the reality of continuous evaluation for the deaf and hard of hearing students in primary stage in favor of teachers of programs for hard of hearing students whose experience (4 years or less).
Also, there are statistically significant differences about the problems of the continuous evaluation for the deaf and hard of hearing students in the primary Stage according to educational qualification in favor of teachers qualified for (special education) and variable of training courses in favor of teachers who have not any training courses in evaluation.
