Abstract EN

The present study aimed at discussing the philosophy of strategic planning as a methodology and process that can affect the performance of public corporations.

Moreover, it aimed at explaining the impact of strategic planning on the performance of public corporations.

The problem was formulated through the following question: "What is the impact of strategic planning on the performance of public corporations?" The data were collected by means of a questionnaire.

The study used statistical descriptive methods to test its hypotheses.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: the positive impact of strategic planning factors (social factors, technological factors, and political factors) on the performance of public corporations.

The study recommends that awareness should be given to the role of strategic factors in the performance of public corporations.
