Abstract EN

The study aimed to study and analyze the strategies of visual management (establishing rules of work, disinfection, elimination of waste in activities and wealth) and their role in decisiontaking.

The study depended on the descriptive analytical method, while the data were collected through the study questionnaire, which was distributed to a sample of fifty employees at Omdurman National bank.

The results of the study showed the clear application of visual management by the bank; also the bank is concerned with the rules of work; in addition, the policy of disinfection was applied by the bank; and the bank is making an effort to reduce the waste in activities and wealth; while the decision taking process in the bank depended on scientific basis.

The study recommended working to remove the obstacles that impede the possibility of implementing visual management; as well as utilizing time efficiently when taking some routine administrative decisions to reduce waste; besides determining the rules governing the work in a way that serves the Bank's mission; and to engage the bank’s employees in the decision-taking process.
