The study aimed at examining the effect of the size of savings at personal lines insurance companies in financing their investment in Algeria; besides highlighting the role of these companies as saving vehicles.

The research problem revolved around examining the effect of the size of the savings of personal lines insurance companies in financing the investments of these companies.

The study main findings indicated the presence of a significant relationship between savings and investments at personal lines insurance companies.

The study main recommendations call for the dissemination of insurance and saving awareness by the State and insurance companies through carrying out awareness programs.
