The study aims at showing how the prevailing traditional world trading system has led to a failure in achieving equity and fairness for producers, Which made the need to develop trading system that guarantees the rights of the both sides, a persistent need.

Islamic finance is a gateway to the establishment of this type of trade, due to the funding modalities that are available to small producers.

African countries need fair trade, because they are affected by unfair practices, they need to consolidate Islamic financing patterns in a manner that supports the fair trade model, This paper highlights the role and the importance of Islamic finance in supporting and establishing this type of trade in African countries, since it plays a significant role in the field of fair trade.
