Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to find an Arab version to Karl Rogers test for the habits of mind- which was set in the Saudi Arabian environment by Elanaqira and Eldjarah, after applying it to a sample of university students in Algeria.

To achieve this goal, the study sample consisted of 156 students (males and females) of second year, bachelor degree, in the specialty of education sciences in Hamma Lakhdar University, where they were randomly chosen in a stratified manner.

To reach indicators of the validity of the test, the two researchers adopted Construct related validity, split-half reliability, and the validity of the concept using exploratory analysis, which resulted that the test of mind habits has acceptable indicators of sincerity after its application to the study sample.

Also it shows that Karl Rogers' cognitive habits test has high stability, reflected by the results of the middle fragmentation and internal consistency.

We can therefore conclude that the Karl Rogers test of the habits of reason has achieved acceptable levels of honesty and consistency after applying it to a sample of students at El oued University that is its psychometric properties are consistent with the characteristics of good testing.
