Abstract EN

The study aims to demonstrate the impact of the application of disclosure and transparency rules as one of the governance pillars of insurance companies operating in the Algerian insurance market.

To achieve the objective of this study, the researcher distributed questionnaires to a number of insurance companies, and the results showed the absence of disclosure and transparency on the sample of the study, which is considered the main entry point for the implementation of the governance system, which has negatively affected the nature and quality of information and reports provided by insurance companies.
