The globale banking arena witn essed many mergers, Reverse ase Islamic banks which witnessed few of them, In order to determine the impact of banking merger on the financial performance of Islamic banks, we chose one of the most important merger experiences namely the experience of Al Salam Bank in Bahrain, By Comparing financial performance indicators before and after the merger, relying mainly on the annual financial reports of the bank under study and using descriptive statistics methods.

The results showed that the merger has a positive effect on the profitability and liquidity indices And maintained the minimum capital adequacy limits, but the quality of the assets did not improve after the merger, The study recommended the need to encourage the expansion of banking mergers in Islamic banks.
