Abstract EN

This research aims to introduce educational endowment funds, with a review of leading international experiences in international universities, including Harvard University in the United States of America, which is one of the most profitable scientific funds, and King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia.

This allowed to propose some solutions and recommendations that contribute to the establishment of an endowment educational fund in Algeria.

One of the findings is that Waqf funds are a community-based company in the management of higher education (universities),The reason for the absence of educational endowment funds in Algeria is due to the lack of independence of the endowment administration and the absence of supportive directions for the scientific endowment through endowment projects adopted by the ministry.
