Recently, after the introduction of quotas, or quota, Algeria has seen the expansion of women's representation in various political institutions, This field study therefore highlights the effectiveness of this system and its ability to select local representatives capable of professionally engaging in political action.
The results of this study revealed that the quota system, although it contributed to the access of women to the political sphere, on the other hand did not take into account the necessary conditions in the selection of local teams able to serve their communities
