Abstract EN

Resolving the differences between the two assemblies of the parliament gives rise to some problems in different constitutional regimes .Algeria is not an exception for this rule .

The constitution of 1996 –when establishing bicameralism- adopted the mixed joint commission as an only means of resolving the differences between them .The constitutional amendment of 2016 has added a news means of resolving the differences between the two assemblies :giving the last word to People’s National Assembly.As yest , this procedure is linked to the will of the government , a factors that leads to its being less effective.
