This study aimed to reveal the relationship between the degree of psychological burnout among the principals of public schools in Jordan and their job performance, and two tools were used to collect data: the scale of psychological burnout for school principals that Friedman built, and a questionnaire on the performance of the principal of the school that the researcher developed.

After confirming their psychometric properties, they were distributed to a sample consisting of (1X2) male and female principals working in five educational regions in the 2014/2015 academic year, and after analyzing the data statistically, the most important results were: The degree of psychological burnout among the principals of public schools in Jordan is medium: the dimensions of the scale are descending as follows: the dimension of feeling the lack of achievement, then the emotional exhaustion dimension, and finally the dimension of personal feelings sagging.

Also that tire degree of job performance of school principals is great, and that there is little negative correlation between their degree of psychological burnout and their job performance which reached 29).

The study recommended responsible educational authorities to take measures to reduce the psychological bumoul of sctxxtl principals to increase their job performance, such as providing assistants to them, and providing them with further reinforcement, and suggested conducting other studies.
