The study aimed to identify the relationship between the family context and psychological tension among students of the faculties of education in the universities of Gaza governorates, the sample of the study consisted of (421) male and female students.

The most important results were: a negative correlation between the family context and psychological tension, while the relative weight of the family context (88.90%), and psychological tension (64.13%), There are no differences in the family context, and psychological tension attributed to the gender variable, as well as the absence of differences in the social, religious and moral field on the scale of the family context attributable to the area of specialization, while there are differences in the field of emotional, social and academic and the total score on the psychological tension scale, as the study showed Differences attributed to the university variable on the psychological tension scale, and the family context scale.
