Our Algerian legislator has always sought to establish comprehensive criminal protection for the category of children who were victims or in a state of moral danger, and even for delinquent children.

This is in its belief in the findings of criminal science, which states that the delinquent child is often a victim of family or social factors, which led him to criminal world.

As a reflection of the reinstatement of this category of offenders, our legislator has approved criminal protection for delinquent children.

This is what we have found through our research for the manifestations of this protection on the light of the Children's Law (15/12).

This began with the initial exploration through the preliminary investigation as well as the judgment stage with the measurement of the most appropriate penalty for the child, ending up by putting this penalty into practice during its implementation phase through the child re-education and reform
