Abstract EN

The purpose of this research paper has been to examine up to what extent has Palestinian ministry of economic-training programs develop employees skills, for achieving this goal the researchers have employed the personal interview by visiting some of the employees in the ministry of economic and some employees from relevant ministries, in addition to that a questionnaire was constructed which cover the factors of managerial skills, technical skills, and behavior skills, and demographic profile of the respondents, and the obstacles that face the subject of the training programs.

(75) Questionnaires where distributed and (65) where retrieved, covering (9) departments from the ministry.

The findings revealed that respondents agree on the role of training program toward developing their skills.

The research null hypotheses registered no significant differences among the respondents perception when respondents where grouped according to their demographic profile, therefore the null hypotheses was accepted, while a high significant differences was registered when respondents where grouped according to sex, therefore, the hypotheses was rejected, these differences where in favored of males rather than females, as males pay more attention in developing their skills.

And the most frequent obstacles that face respondents where the lack of training assessments, and the random selection of nominated candidates for training.
