Although awareness of the seriousness of desertification, but the means of controlling the disease in the study area has not yet lived up to the level of threat posed by the various environmental, economic, social, cultural, political and security levels.
It is therefore necessary to give them pride of place in the development plans.
The search included monitor and assess, control and rehabilitation of the land desertified in the study area and the way how to stop the advance of desertification through combat and well-defined plans include direct targets is to stop the advance of desertification and reclamation of desertified land and the other involving the revival of soil fertility and maintenance in desertification-prone areas.
It requires evaluation and review of the plans on an ongoing basis in order to avoid what is bad and look long-term and rational management of the resources of the natural environment at all levels and the cooperation of government effectively.
Taking into account the lack of quick solutions to this problem.
It can be the means of combating desertification varies from one place to another depending on the causes and the speed of desertification and vision to this problem, but there are similarities between them in general can be inserted under surveillance through meaningful to estimate the vital energy of the Earth, which is made necessary for any plans aimed at combating desertification and environmental survey as the absence of Base environmental information is compounded by the difficulty in predicting the environmental conditions.
To accomplish this task requires the adoption of science and technology in desertification control and development of meteorological stations and increase the number and raise the level of coordination and exchange of information among themselves at the local and regional level to monitor weather extremes, and the rationalization of rain-fed agriculture (rain-fed) to limit the expansion of this type of agriculture to land at least adequate On the one hand the amount of rainfall.
It said this expansion leads to soil degradation and ecosystem, and the rationalization of grazing by identifying energy pastures to provide for certain numbers of animals in order to avoid exposing it to damage and destruction, and the rationalization of water use through a means of irrigation and drainage more effective, such as drip irrigation, sprinkler and water rationing used even dysfunctional excessive used to soil salinization, and the use of more effective means to stop soil erosion and prevent the factors that accelerate them and install the quicksand to get to farming to be converted into a product component, and the dissemination and deepening environmental awareness at the local and state level and rehabilitation of draft general downstream by addressing the technical problems suffered by the dueindifference
