The phenomenon of smuggling is one of the most important economic and social negative phenomena facing the economies of all countries in the world, be it developed, developing or underdeveloped, and that is why is necessary to tackle this phenomenon.

Algeria has sought to combat the phenomenon of smuggling by appealing to national institutions such as government offices, local committees and security forces, raising awareness among civil society of the seriousness of this phenomenon, by concluding international cooperation agreements to combat this phenomenon.
