Abstract EN

This study aims at diagnose obstacles to scientific research in colleges of education in Khartoum stat.

The descriptive method was used; population consisted for all staff members of faculty’s education on Khartoum.

state, the researcher adopted at the questionnaire to collect information on the monitoring of the most important obstacles and then analyzed scientific analysis, to summarize the obstacles in specific factors.

Randomly selected sample of iff faculty members, (a-) Assistant Professor, and (n^) Associate Professor, and (U) Professor.

The data were analyzed by One - sample t.

test, One - way ANOVA, and post analysis Duncan.

The result found that the obstacles to scientific research in the faculties of education in universities of Khartoum State prevail significant level, and the implications of these constraints in descending order of: lack of financial support and poor service, frequent burdens and the lack of financial return , and poor communication with the outside community , and the weakness of the community's confidence in the return of scientific research , in addition to the absence of strategic planning for scientific research.

And there are differences in the lack of financial support and poor services, and the many burdens and the lack of financial return , and poor communication with the outside community between universities.

The study concluded by offering some recommendations and suggestions for future studies.
