he study aimed to identify whether training and development will have an impact on employee performance in the insurance sector.

The study relied on the collection of primary data through the distribution of (100) questionnaires to employees working in the insurance sector .After screening, it was found that 41 questionnaires were valid for analysis.

The study found organizational issues such as the lack of administrative support for training and development programs, which restricted training and development.

The results showed that training and development have had a positive impact on the study staff.

The study recommended that, in order to improve staff performance, management should enable all departments to participate in staff training and development to build capacity and enhance competencies.
