Abstract EN

Participatory governance means the participation of citizens in decisions issued by the public authorities of the State, and is dedicated to the principle of participatory democracy.

Therefore, this study deals with the subject of participatory governance in the field of urbanization, through which we examine the constitutional basis and the legislative and regulatory framework that governing it.

The second part of this study, it was dedicated to the demonstration of the embodiment of the participatory governance in the urban sphere.

The study concluded with a set of results and proposals that would contribute to the development of a legal system for participatory governance in the field of construction, rehabilitation and reconstruction.
