The aim of this study is ti hilight the role of environmental taxation in the embedding of the environmental dimension of sustainable development, where the concept of both environmental levy and sustainable development will be addressed to finally demonstrate the role of environmental levy in achieving sustainable development as one of the most important mechanisms developed for the environment protection.
