The researchers were interested in the remains and vestiges of the pre- Roman era in the area of funerary monuments.

For the Libyan-Punic period, their work focused mainly on the study of mausoleums and shrines, as if the inhabitants of North Africa at the beginning of historical times lived only to look after the religious and funerary life.

Today a reexamination of the lifestyle of the local population is in prospect, in order to highlight the remains of habitats that built near megalithic necropolis large tracts of which I have seen traces around major sites of the East Algeria.

We will show in this article, the topographic characteristics and the choice of ground considered as primordial for a defensive construction, with a typically local architecture.
