The Jordanian legislator in the Civil Code dealt with the subject of purifying the property in a single article (1356), but he did not specify its procedure and the appropriate time for his work as an option for the holder, in order to avoid following the creditor's pledge of zakat.

The cleansing differs from some legal systems similar to it in many aspects.

The holder can hold the property free of foreclosure, and the disinfection helps the mortgaged creditor obtain the value of the mortgaged property without having to follow the execution procedures on the property that require complex procedures and high expenses.

After the disinfection has been presented, there are some implications for both the holder and his stay for the length of time the law allows the creditors to accept or reject the offer, and the consequences of the acceptance by the creditors, and in the case of refusal.

Finally, we concluded with a number of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which is the introduction of the cleansing system in Jordan through the concept, procedures and effects.
