The study deals with the United States' position towards Panama during the last years of World War II.
It was built on the basis of agreement between the two sides in accordance with the treaties imposed by the war which required the United States to abandon for Panama in return of getting Panamian lands outside the canal area which was called the Twelve Point Agreement.
But the United States didn't commit to the agreements literally.
