Abstract EN

The Fatimids took care of the health and medical conditions in Egypt since the establishment of the Fatimid state in Egypt from the date of (358/969) to the date of its demise (567 AH / 1171 AD).

They were also interested in teaching medicine in Egypt and identifying the qualities of medical students, the methods of Egyptian doctors and their methods of teaching medicine, and the most important medical tools used for doctors in that era, in addition to medicines, treatments and places of preparation.
