Abstract EN

The importance of the research lies in studying leadership from central federations of Paralympic and Olympics point of view as well as comparing the results using Intelligent leadership scale that include (personality intelligence – emotional intelligence – cognitive intelligence – and spiritual intelligence).

The researchers designed questions like does Paralympic and Olympic committees have intelligent leadership that have all leadership qualifications, what kind of leadership intelligence does Olympic and Paralympic committees’ leaders possess? Do the leaders of Olympic and Paralympic committees have the ability to improve themselves by obtaining all types of leadership to better serve federations and their employees and to make athletic decision? The researchers used the descriptive method on a subjects of (50) members from each national Olympic and Paralympic committees.

They distributed the questionnaire for measuring intelligent leadership from Ali Abdul Lateef dissertation 2019.

The results showed that Paralympic committee members have some leadership characteristics yet the policies followed by the committee does not allow them to perform their leadership role which was negative thus created problems.

The researchers recommended developing higher leadership skills by improving their skills and abilities in emotional, cognitive and spiritual intelligence as well as holding courses for intelligent leadership.
