English Abstract

The goal of teaching Arabic in the first stages is to enable the learner to acquire knowledge tools by providing him with the basic skills in reading, writing and expression while taking into account the gradual development of these skills throughout the educational stages.

So the aim of the current research was to develop written expression skills by teaching grammatical rules for prep students, through the use of instrucational e games.

To achieve the goals of the research, follow the descriptive approach when writing the theoretical framework, and limit the educational literature, and previous studies that dealt with research variables, and describe the procedures that were followed to prepare its tools.

The quasi-experimental approach was used to measure the effectiveness of independent variables on dependent variables.

The research sample consisted of a group of middle school students consisting of (60) male and female students.

They were divided into two equal groups, one experimental, using instrucational e games, and the second control used the traditional method.

Measurement tools consisted of testing written expression skills, an e games program used to teach grammar and a teacher’s guide to how to use computer games to teach grammar were prepared.

Measurement tools were applied before and after learning, and the research results showed the superiority of students who used instrucational e games over their counterparts in the control group students in written expression skills by teaching grammatical rules.
