Abstract EN

The current research sheds light on what is obscure about the writing movement of those adherents from Basra to Imams.

The research aims at showing the scientific production at the level of writing practiced by those writers from Basra, who are friends to Imams ( peace be upon them ).

It also reveals the scientific value that these writings produced and the extent to which these sources can be considered as sources for further studies and writings.

It is found that these writings showed a variety of knowledge concerning history, rhetoric, speech, ethics, literature, language, and explanation.

Besides, those writers can be specified in a particular area or being followers of a specific Imam, but one can find that they belong to different eras that the Imams lived.

This has a particular importance at the level of heritage of knowledge enhanced by those Imams who advised the writers to write and publish on the a variety of topics and to jot down the heritage.
