Abstract EN

Numerous critical readings were written about the poetic productions of the poet, Dabal Al-Khuzaie to include many important creative and artistic aspects of his poetry, but they overlooked an important aspect that is no less important than the studied aspects, which is the motivation of irony from a psychological perspective.

As well as the possibility of benefiting from the principles of psychology and its mechanisms in identifying the potentials behind the direction of Duabal Khuzaie to increase the harsh irony and its wide use in all other his poetic topics.

Judging from the strong relationship between artistic creativity and psychology, the psychological motives, which contained in the ridiculous texts, were analysed and interpreted through three levels of self-love, desire, suppression, and inferiority complex.

The study reached a number of conclusions: the most important one of them is that the study of literary phenomena from the perspective of psychology has the advantage of revealing the true motives and inherent in the poetic experience of Duabal Khuzaie, and its remarkable impact on the commitment of satirical art.
