Abstract EN

The study aims to study the effectiveness of some monetary variables like (monetary and interest rate) in indicators of economic stability (economic growth, inflation and unemployment).

Monetary variables are of great importance.

Recent studies and research have shown the effect of monetary variables in indicators of economic stability (growth, inflation, Unemployment) especially during the period of economic crises, as these variables have become the main tool by which the monetary authority can correct the imbalances that affect the economy and return it back to the stability.

And this subject was taken into consideration to be studied and analyzed.

The first section dealt with the theoretical and conceptual bases of monetary variables and indicators of economic stability.

Analysis of indicators of some monetary variables in Iraq for the period ( 1990-2015).

The third section included the analysis of indicators of economic stability in Iraq during the period ( 1990-2015 ), While the fourth section dealt with the measurement of causal relationship and analysis between some of the monetary variables and economic stability in Iraq during the period ( 1990-2015).

This research is based on the assumption that there is a relationship between some monetary variables (money supply and interest rate) and indicators of economic stability.

A correlation was found between these variables and some indicators of economic stability.
