The study of the phenomenon of divorce in Iraqi society after 9 / 4 / 2003 is one of the leading studies in one of the most dangerous areas that Iraqi society is currently experiencing, given the huge increase in the number of divorces, this study comes in the succession of providing appropriate solutions to this serious phenomenon.

The research tagged (the phenomenon of divorce in Iraqi society after 9 /4 / 2003) included many detective, as well as the rest of the research, which was the selection of the title and then the Quranic Ayah, and then dedication and thanks and appreciation, then an appropriate introduction, then determine the objectives of the research, Then the problem of research and methodology.

The first section contains the definition of the basic concepts contained which included divorce and then early divorce and then early marriage and then Iraqi society, while the second section contains Iraqi studies and previous foreign studies, The third section contains the status of the divorce phenomenon in some ancient civilizations and then the phenomenon of divorce in some heavenly religions, such as Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

The fourth section discussed the causes, consequences and effects of divorce in Iraqi society.

The fifth section includes the social factors related to divorce in Iraqi society and statistics and data on divorce in some Iraqi provinces, and Analyze the divorce laws in the law.
