The study investigates the relationship between economic development and government expenditure In Jordan, it consists of four parts.
The first part analyzes the structure of government expenditure in Jordan.
The theoretical framework of the relationship between government expenditure and economic development is presented in the second part.
The eco¬nometric models used in the study are presented in part three, while the fourth part estimates the impact of economic development on government The stud) concludes, that the high increase in government expenditures in Jordan was partly related to the change in the structure of the output of Jordan economy.
