Abstract EN

The beginnings of free poetry began in Kuwait with the poem , Rabab , by the Kuwait poet Ali Sabti in 1955 .

This year dated beginning of free poetry movement not only in Kuwait but also in Arabian gulf region .

After that year , wave of poetry started due to many reasons on first of them were Social and cultural circumstances which are similar to those that escorted launching modern Arabic poetry.

Another reason was neighbouring of Iraq and Kuwait which contributed in establishing literary and human relations between Kuwaiti poets with Iraqis ones such as ALSayab and Nazik Al- Malaika .

This new wave cannot start without primary indications which are matched with indications before 1947 which accompanied modern Arabic poetry but that gulf Introductions are more shy than the conditions that are presented in modern Arabic poetry .

In addition to some gulf indications that launched from the vertical poetry such as that renovations which created in the vertical poem in the modern Arabic poetry
