This research seeks to read the novel "My Jewish friend" by the Jordanian writer Subhi Al-Fahmawi; in order to show the art of narrative discourse in the novel, and what carries among its concepts and issues, the narrator was able to reduce the Arab reality in its relationship with the Zionist entity in particular and the Jewish in general, The novel is in its literary depth, a translation of the poetic taste of the Arab man first and the Muslim secondly, it is a historical extension that reflects the reality of the Arab concern towards its national sanctities and reveals that the novel came to represent the emergence of new perceptions of how to deal with the Palestinian cause, in a stylistic manner, framed by the narration of the narrator, in which the writer was able to engage the reader within the cycle of indirect dialogue by tracing the narratives and their transformations through narrative time in relation to the historical dimension of events.

Our reading of the novel - through the travel generated by the narrator through several stations and the attendant events - led to the unveiling of several religious and sectarian issues between Jews and Muslims, represented by the friendly relationship that brought together the Arab hero Jamal and the Jewish Yael.
